OCEANSIDE–”Colors of Music” is this year’s theme at the 14th annual Oceanside Music Festival on November 8.
The festival will showcase a variety of music genres for all ages, showcasing both student and professional musicians from throughout Southern California.
The free event runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., November 8 at the corner of Coast Hwy 101 and Pier View Way in downtown Oceanside.
Performances include brass quintet Navy Band Southwest; 6-string cello musician Marston Smith, who the Los Angeles Times called the “Cello Master Blaster,” acclaimed jazz/pop/R&B harpist Mariea Antoinette; among other notable performers.
OMFest, through a series of annual concerts, aims to raise funds for musically talented, deserving graduating seniors; encourage professional, and avocational musicians to mentor students; and educate the public about the necessity of music in the schools.
