EL CAJON–The best of wine and beer will be showcased at this year’s 3rd annual “A Toast to East County” and Trail Blazer Awards on October 22.
The 1 to 4 p.m. event will be held at the El Cajon Elks Lodge, 1800 E. Washington Avenue in El Cajon. The toast will feature local winemakers, breweries, restaurants, agricultural and manufacturers of delicious and useful items.
Participants include: ECasi Cielo Winery and Maness Vineyards, Wine and other items (jellies, towels), Campo Creek, Vino Urbano, Rock Canyon, San Pasqual Winery Craft Breweries, Burning Beard Brewery, El Cajon, Smoking Cannon Brewery, Ramona, Hess Brewing, San Diego, Richard’s Bees – Honey Purveyors, Alpine, San Diego Olive Oil – Olive Oil, Ramona, 1904 Apothecary Lane – Handmade Soap and Beauty Products, El Cajon, Jackie’s Jams – manufacturer of delicious jellies, and more.
Award-winning country artist Kathryn Cloward will entertain guests on the Elks Lodge Patio during the event.
The San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce is producing the event for the third year with the support of the Elks Lodge, the San Diego County Vintners Association and Maness Vineyards.
Tickets are $30 for chamber and Elks Members, $35 for guests of the chamber and $45 at the door on the day of the event.
