CATHEDRAL CITY–Two small children Thursday evening who were abducted in a stolen vehicle in Cathedral City were found safe early Friday morning in Desert Hot Springs, Cathedral City Police Department said today.
Riverside County Sheriff’s Department says the two brothers, Carlos Cortez, 2, and Jayden Cortez, 1, were found unharmed inside the backseat of the vehicle. The suspect who stole the 2016 White Honda Accord and abandoned it was not located.
Authorities are searching for the suspect.
