WARNER SPRINGS–A 51-year-old female Friday evening was found shot in the upper torso inside her Warner Springs home Friday evening , Sheriff’s deputies said Saturday.
Deputies received a call at 11:46 p.m. of a shooting on Camino San Ignacio on the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation.
When deputies arrived at the home they found the victim lying inside the home with obvious trauma to her upper body. Deputies rendered first aid until paramedics arrived and transported her to Palomar Hospital for treatment.
Authorities arrested 57-year-old Sandra Leigh Stoneburner who lived at the home. She was booked into the Las Colinas Detention Facility on a single count of attempted murder. The victim remains hospitalized.
