SAN DIEGO–The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce endorsed the San Diego County Road Repair, Transit, Traffic Relief, Safety and Water Quality Measure on the November ballot to repair and upgrade our transportation infrastructure.
“Measure A fixes our roads, creates capacity and freedom of movement for our residents and goods, and propels the growth of the economy throughout the region,” said Jerry Sanders, President and CEO of the San Diego Regional Chamber.
The road repair measure will generate an estimated $18 billion in guaranteed funding for San Diego County and will leverage more than $20 to $40 billion in state and federal matching funds to provide a stable source of revenue for every community. These are new funds Sacramento cannot take away that are guaranteed to stay in our region. For every $1 billion invested from this measure, more than 11,000 jobs will be created.

This measure will help promote greater mobility for our region’s residents and local businesses, and help to provide a better quality of life for generations to come,” said Ron Roberts, Chairman of the County Board of Supervisors.
