SAN DIEGO–Caltrans announced that Otay Mesa Road will be closed in both directions between La Media Road and Sanyo Avenue tonight from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
Construction crews will be adjusting falsework on the bridge over Otay Mesa Road as part of State Route 905/SR-125/SR-11 Northbound Connectors Project. Westbound traffic will be detoured south onto Sanyo Avenue to Airway Road to La Media Road and west on Otay Mesa Road.
Eastbound travelers will use the same detour route in the opposite direction. Access to SR-125/South Bay Expressway will remain open to users.
Detour signs will direct motorists around the closure.
