SAN DIEGO–Homicide detectives Tuesday arrested a third man in connection with the April 12 shooting death of man in Palm City.

Maurice Hayes, 20 of San Diego was charged and booked into County Jail on one count of murder of  27-year-old Raymond Lipscomb.

On June 29, police officers arrested 28-year-old Rodney Martin and 35–year-old Darryl Key, both from San Diego in connection to the murder. Martin and Key were booked into County Jail on one count of murder.

San Diego police received a 9-11 call of a shooting just after 1 a.m. in the 1000 block of Outer Road.

When officers arrived, they found Lipscomb suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper torso. Officers started life saving measures prior to medic’s arrival. Lipscomb was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
