Authorities Conduct Investigation On Suspicious Death In Encinitas

ENCINITAS–Authorities are investigating the death of an adult female found inside her Encinitas home early Monday morning.

Deputies responded to a call to assist the fire department with a possible medical aid at 1475 Spanish Bay Court in Encinitas. When deputies arrived, fire department personnel were on scene performing life saving measures on an unidentified female adult. The victim was pronounced deceased at the house.

During the initial investigation it was determined the circumstances surrounding the death warranted a response from the Sheriff’s Homicide Detail.

The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office will be conducting an autopsy and will determine the cause and manner of death as well as provide a positive identification of the victim.
