OCEANSIDE–A physical altercation between several individuals ended with two people shot and one person stabbed, Oceanside police said Friday.
The brawl took place in the 400 block of Grant Street about two blocks from Oceanside High School.
Police officers arrived on scene and located two victims who had sustained gunshots wounds and an additional victim with possible stab wounds. The victims were treated on scene by paramedics and ultimately flown by air ambulance to a local trauma center.
The severity of the wounds is unknown. Oceanside police are currently on scene and searching for possible suspects. Detectives from the Crimes of Violence unit are responding to assist in the investigation. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
