FALLBROOK–The Fallbrook Patrol Station Crime Suppression Team with the assistance of Sheriff’s Criminal Intelligence Division and Street Gang Unit as well as units from the San Diego Probation Department conducted a gang suppression detail in Fallbrook.
Four documented street gang members were specifically targeted in the detail. After conducting probation checks of the target list, units conducted extra patrol in high gang crime areas. Three people were arrested during the detail for probation violations.
Authorities arrested Efrain Cornejo, 32, Guadalupe Melecio, 28, and Marcus Johnson, 45. Melecio was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
In addition, five people were contacted and field interviews were conducted. The field interviews helped further document each subject as a criminal street gang member or associate, authorities say.
