SAN DIEGO–A female found deceased inside an apartment in Allied Gardens Friday has been identified, homicide investigators say.
The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Krystal Mitchell from Phoenix Arizona. She was in San Diego visiting friends with her boyfriend, 32-year-old, Raymond McLeod, also from Phoenix Arizona. McLeod has since fled the area in a white, four-door Lexus or Infinity with paper Arizona plates. Investigators say McLeod is a person of interest in this case.
San Diego police received a 911 call of a female not breathing inside of an apartment located in the 7600 block of Mission George Road. The female was pronounced dead by medics at the scene. The cause of death is still undetermined until the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office completes an autopsy.
