Bianka Rubio
SAN DIEGO–Oster and Associates announce the addition of Bianka Rubio to its account management team. She recently joined the San Diego-based full-service branding and public relations agency, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
Located in Hillcrest, the agency features a client roster that includes local and national organizations in the agriculture, engineering, hospitality, landscaping, nonprofit, planning, produce, sports and travel industries, among others.
“Bianka’s experience and personality are a perfect match for our staff and we are very happy to have her on board,” said Oster and Associates President Bev Oster. “Her expertise in strategic communications and copywriting, combined with her leadership skills will be very valuable to our existing and prospective clients.”
With more than 10 years of experience in marketing and public relations, Rubio has worked for a wide array of companies and organizations, including military, government and nonprofits. She has also collaborated with and received specialized training from PR industry firms Ogilvy & Mather and Qorvis MSLGROUP. Prior to joining Oster and Associates, Rubio facilitated media training and speech writing for senior level executives and crisis PR management for a number of local and national nonprofit organizations.
A graduate from the University of San Diego, Rubio earned Bachelors of International Relations and Business degrees and a MBA with a marketing and communications focus.
Originally from Tucson, Ariz., Rubio now calls San Diego home. She is an avid reader and classically trained violinist. On most weekends, you can find her hiking and enjoying the great outdoors.
