OCEANSIDE–A woman screaming for help was stabbed by her assailant in Oceanside, authorities say.
When Oceanside police 0fficers arrived in the 4100 block of Alabar Way they found the conscious 42 year-old victim with at least one stab wound. The victim told officers her 20 year-old son, Nathan Orozco, had just stabbed her in the backyard of their residence following an argument.
Orozco was located in the backyard of the residence and taken into custody without incident.
The woman was airlifted to Scripps La Jolla and is expected to survive.
