CARLSBAD–Carlsbad police arrested a 29 year-old Oceanside man for a felony no bail warrant and for resisting arrest, authorities said Friday.
At 7:34 a.m., a Carlsbad police officer recognized Anthony Lee Holt with an active felony warrant exit one of the motel rooms at a local motel in the 700 block of Raintree Drive. Upon contact, the man ran from the officer westbound from the motel into a residential area in the 6900 block of Avenida Encinas.
Police officers searched the area with the assistance of San Diego Sheriff Department’s ASTREA helicopter and a Carlsbad K-9 unit. The man was located in the 6900 block of Shoreline Drive hiding in an outside water heater closet in the backyard of a residence.
Holt was booked into the Vista Detention Facility
