ESCONDIDO–Escondido police Sunday night arrested two men and charged them with attempted murder of another man.
Authorities say 27 year-old Edgar Bueno Pacheco and 21 year-old Oscar Bueno Pacheco, of Escondido were booked into the Vista Jail.
On May 14, at about 11:52 p.m., Escondido police dispatch received a 911 call regarding a male yelling for help in the 3000 block of North Broadway. Initially, the crime was believed to have occurred in the county portion of Escondido, and San Diego Sheriff’s Deputies were sent to the call. On arrival, the deputies found a 31 year-old male suffering from multiple injuries to his head, consisting of blunt force trauma and a gunshot. The man was transported to a local area hospital where he underwent surgery for his injuries.
