OCEANSIDE–Oceanside Cultural Art Foundation and its members will host a reception with Oceanside Days of Art artists April 16.

The gathering will follow the closing of the entertainment and display area on Pier View Way at 5 p.m. on April 16 at Oceanside Museum of Art, located at 704 Pier View Way in Oceanside.

Pianist and Oceanside Cultural Art Foundation board member Robert Parker will perform during the reception. A graduate of the Drake University Instrumental Music Department and inductee of the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Parker is known for his solid left hand, classically-fueled cadenzas, and his dynamic and memorable style. Oceanside Museum of Art will graciously provide its foyer as a venue for this celebration, which includes champagne, wine, appetizers, desserts, entertainment, and an up-close opportunity to meet superb visual artists.
