SANTEE–Detectives have arrested two juveniles in connection with vehicle thefts and vandalism in Santee, Sheriff’s deputies said Thursday.
On March 15, detectives from the Santee Sheriff’s Station conducted two simultaneous probationary searches at the homes of two juveniles in Santee. These searches were conducted based on information that both juveniles may have been responsible for vehicle thefts and vandalisms near Buena Vista and Cottonwood Avenues on February 7 and March 4. The crimes resulted in more than $5,000 in damages and losses.
The juveniles were booked into Juvenile Hall. The investigation and search for more possible suspects continues.
