SAN DIEGO–Crime Stoppers and San Diego police are asking for assistance from the public in identifying and locating a woman who is named a person of interest in the murder of a San Diego man.

Detectives described the woman as a light-skinned, black female between 20 to 30 years old.

On October 7, 2015, at about 1:30 p.m., police officers responded to a shooting at a strip mall along the 6200 block of Imperial Avenue. Officers found 25-year-old Albert Franco shot along with a male companion. Franco died of his injuries. The second victim was wounded, but survived.

Jared Casey, 25, has been arrested and charged in the murder of Franco, and the attempted murder of the second victim.
