BANNING—A magnitude-4.4 earthquake struck Southern California Wednesday morning, according to the Earthquake Track website.
The 6:41 quake centered near Banning, a small city located on Interstate 10 between the Inland Empire and the Coachella Valley in the San Gorgonio Pass.
The tremor also was felt in Orange, Riverside and San Diego counties.
There were no reported damages or injuries.
