SAN MARCOS–The Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the identity of a shooting victim found lying on a sidewalk in San Marcos November 20.
The victim, 14 year-old San Marcos resident, Brandon Gonzalez died from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. The death has been ruled a homicide.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives are investigating the incident which took place in the 3500 block of De Leone Road.
