SPRING VALLEY–A 69 year-old Spring Valley man was arrested for possession of child pornography, Sheriff”s deputies said Saturday.

Detectives from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Taskforce took Gary Alan Dallmann into custody.

On November 4, detectives from the Rancho San Diego Station served a search warrant at his residence. Detectives identified additional child pornography stored on electronic devices inside the residence. Dallmann was a volunteer tutor for the La Mesa-Spring Valley School District at La Presa Middle School and Kempton Elementary School, but was immediately released after the district was advised of the investigation. ICAC detectives will continue their investigation to determine if he volunteered at any other schools.

Dallmann was booked into the San Diego Central Jail and is being held on $25,000.00 bail.
