Uknown robbery suspect

SAN DIEGO–Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Robbery Unit are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate an unknown suspect wanted for armed robbery.

On November 12 at 8:30 p.m., a male walked into the Euclid Smoke Shop located at 4268 Euclid Avenue in San Diego. The male asked the clerk for a pack of cigarettes. When the clerk turned away to retrieve the cigarettes, the male pulled out a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at the clerk. The male demanded money from the cash register and a safe that was located behind the counter. After taking the cash, the male walked out of the business and headed south on Euclid Avenue towards an alley just west of the business.

The suspect is described as a black male, six feet tall, weighing 250 pounds, and wearing a red baseball hat, red shoes, blue jeans, a large shiny belt buckle, a black long-sleeved shirt, and had a dark colored semi-automatic handgun.
