SAN DIEGO–Investigators and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an armed robbery suspect.

On November 4,  at 8:20 a.m., the suspect entered the American Market, located at 4395 Cleveland Avenue, armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded money from the clerk. After obtaining the money, the suspect ransacked the sales counter area for additional funds and for expensive champagne. The suspect then walked out of the store and got into the front passenger seat of a dark blue Jeep Grand Cherokee that was being driven by a second person. The vehicle fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-late 20s, five feet, ten inches to six feet tall with a thin build, mustache and goatee. He has a tattoo on left arm, and was last seen wearing white latex gloves, a gray Detroit Lions ball cap, a gray jacket with the letters “GHOGH (Go Hard or Go Home)” written on the front and blue jeans.
