Robbery suspect

SAN DIEGO–Crime Stoppers and San Diego police are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate an unknown suspect wanted for robbing a 7-11 store.

On August 31, at approximately 1:09 p.m., a male suspect got out of a white, four-door vehicle, and entered the 7-11 located at 1771 Oro Vista Road, in San Diego. The suspect grabbed a 30-pack of beer and placed it on the counter. The suspect walked behind the counter and robbed the clerks of two different cash registers while displaying a screwdriver in a threatening manner. The suspect took the cash and 30-pack of beer and left the store. The suspect got into the same white 4-door vehicle, which drove away at a high rate of speed onto Oro Vista Road.

The suspect is described as a light skinned Hispanic male, 25 to 30 years of age, 6 to 6 feet, 1 inches tall, 200 pounds, medium build, wearing a blue San Diego Chargers baseball cap, blue t-shirt, blue jeans, and brown boots with red laces. The suspect had what appeared to be a Bluetooth in his right ear. The suspect was armed with a large crosshead screwdriver.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a possible 2002-2003 white 4-door Ford Focus.
