Duane McLaughlin

New York, NY–Former “As the World Turns” star, Duane McLaughlin, best known for his role as Dallas Griffin on the CBS daytime television soap, is set to join Meagan Good, Kyle Schmid and Virginia Madsen, in the NBC network’s drama pilot “Babylon Fields”, from Michael Cuesta, Gerald Cuesta and Michael Atkinson.

The 20th TV-produced project, originally developed and piloted at CBS seven years ago, is about a town’s residents coming back from the dead. McLaughlin, repped by FBI, will play Zach, hipster bad-boy and nightclub owner who is Janine’s (Good) love interest. Rounding out the pilot’s regular cast are Ritchie Coster as Ernie Wunch and Yul Vazquez as Chief of Police Matt Conte.

This marks McLaughlin’s return to NBC, where his past credits include guest starring roles on “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” and “Third Watch.”
