FALLBROOK–San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the Sheriff’s Bomb/Arson Unit want the public’s help in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for arson.

On March 28,  at about 10:20 p.m., a man started a fire in the rear storage area of the Del Rey Avocado Company located at 1260 South Main Avenue in Fallbrook. Surveillance video from the scene showed the unknown suspect pouring what appeared to be a flammable liquid in several different locations of the storage area. He also ignited a plastic gas can which was discovered still burning at the scene. The fire, which caused only minimal damage, was put out by the fire department. The suspect got away before deputies arrived on scene.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or white male, standing about 5’9” tall and weighing approximately 200 lbs. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, a light colored t-shirt, and cargo shorts.
