Kayak Found Floating Upside Down At Lake

RAMONA–Sheriff’s deputies from the Ramona Sub-station were dispatched for a report of a fishing kayak located floating upside down in a City of San Diego reservoir.

Apparently, the kayak is owned by a 55-year-old man who frequents the lake for fishing, and he is known to employees who work at the lake.

Deputies checked the shoreline areas and requested assistance from Sheriff’s ASTREA helicopters, and the Sheriff’s Search and Rescue to the location. Search and Rescue requested additional assistance from San Diego City Life Guards.
