OCEANSIDE–Reverend Dennis Morgan Brown brings to life the speeches of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., at a special program celebrating Black History Month on February 10 and  February 11 at 5:30 p.m. at the Oceanside Public Library.

These two performances will be held at the Mission Branch Library Community Rooms, and Tuesday’s performance will be at the Civic Center Branch Community Room.

Reverend Brown has been an emulator of the speeches of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., since 1975 when, as theatre student, he was asked to recite a speech of Dr. King. Reverend Brown has embodied the stirring speeches of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., to the late Mrs. Coretta Scott King and her children, enthralling everyone with Dr. King’s voice and rendering Reverend Brown standing ovations. He has traveled extensively all across the nation, presenting to schools, colleges, universities, civic events and military installations.

This free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library and is open to the public.
