SAN YSIDRO–The U.S. General Services Administration will temporarily close three Interstate 5 southbound lanes (south of Camino De La Plaza) at the San Ysidro Land Port of Entry to accommodate the ongoing construction project.
These easternmost lanes (lanes 1, 2, and 3) will be closed continuously from Sunday, January 12 at 10 p.m. to Friday, January 17 at 6 a.m. Motorists are asked to use the westernmost lanes.
Caltrans has placed portable Changeable Message Signs on southbound I-5 and Interstate 805 to notify motorists about the lane closure.
