FALLBROOK–Brandon Gallery will feature a special exhibition of plein air art on June 1 to June 30.
Jeanne Shanahan, chair of the Fallbrook artists group known as The Monday Plein Air Artists, said that she and seven other artists have assembled more than 40 pieces of art created over the past two years. Their work, which captures the quality of light and unique qualities of the out-of-doors, will be presented in Brandon Gallery’s Studio 105 wing.
The Monday Plein Air Art Group, which has painted together for more than 20 years, will host a public reception at the gallery Saturday, June 9 from 4 to 6 p.m.
Artists presenting their plein air pieces include Shanahan and Marialice Boph, Penny Fedorchak, Ann Kreile, Sara Meisenholder, Eileen Pace, Phee Sherlin and Carilyn Vice.
