VISTA–Tri-City Hospital Foundation and NBC’s financial expert and host of Money Matters, George Chamberlin have partnered to host a series of seminars to teach North County seniors how to stay financially and physically healthy.
Chamberlin and Tri-City Medical Center physicians will discuss many topics including senior fraud, credit and identity theft, estate planning, healthcare and its impact on seniors, healthcare reform, innovative technologies in medicine and the future of Tri-City Medical Center.
The seminars will be held at three locations in Carlsbad, Oceanside and Vista. The first seminar will take place on Saturday, Feb. 4 at Tri-City Wellness Center, 6250 El Camino Real, Carlsbad at 10 a.m.
“Tri-City Hospital Foundation is continuing its mission to nurture health and wellness in the community,” said, Tobi Ferguson, President and Chief Development Officer at Tri-City Hospital Foundation. “We’re grateful to have the opportunity to partner with George to educate our senior community on how to manage their changing financial needs.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet physicians and ask them questions concerning the changing healthcare environment and the new innovative technologies being offered at the medical center including the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, the new Orthopaedics Institute, the state-of-the-art Cardiovascular Health Institute among other new technologies offered at the community hospital.
