WASHINGTON–Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will deliver a keynote address at the American Conservative Union’s 39th annual Conservative Political Action Conference from February 9 to 11 in Washington, D.C.
Palin, a former Vice Presidential candidate and FOX News contributor, will speak on Saturday, the last day of the event.
“Few national conservative leaders in America today energize and inspire our grassroots activists like Governor Sarah Palin. Her strong record of leadership, championing of our shared principles and magnetic personality have made Sarah Palin a hero to millions of conservatives across the country,” said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas. “As we ready for the critical 2012 election, I’m honored to welcome Governor Palin to the Conservative Political Action Conference for the first-time ever.”
Thousands of grassroots conservatives nationwide are expected to attend the three-day conference. The event will feature speeches, policy discussions and networking opportunities for all participants.
Conservative columnist Ann Coulter, former Governor Mike Huckabee, Governor Scott Walker, Senators Jim DeMint and Marco Rubio, Congressmen Paul Ryan, Allen West, and Steve King, and Republican Presidential hopefuls Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, and Rick Santorum are scheduled to appear at the conference.
