Senior center to host appreciation dinner

SAN DIEGO–The Fourth District Seniors Resource Center will host an appreciation dinner honoring distinguished guests and supportive organizations.

The dinner will include live entertainment by Earl Vaults Trio, a silent auction, and representatives from AARP, Aging and Independence Services, Charles L. Lewis III Foundation, San Diego Convention Center, San Diego Community College District, and United Domestic Workers.

A portrait of the late former 4th District San Diego City Councilmember Reverend George Stevens will be unveiled at the program.

The program runs 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday, September 25 at the George L. Stevens Senior Center, 540 South 65^th Street (off Skyline Drive) in San Diego.
